Company Overview

We are a well-established company located in Pirana, Paldi-Kankaj, Ahmedabad, specializing in import and export operations. We are looking for a dedicated professional to manage logistics, customs clearance, and freight operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Operations Management

• Administer cargo deliveries and process custom releases within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with inventory planning teams and freight forwarders to ensure smooth movement of goods.
• Monitor freight flow, clearance, and timely delivery of imported goods.
• Oversee equipment logistics operations from supplier warehouses to company warehouses.
• Coordinate timely deliveries for FCLs, LTL, BB cargo, and OOG equipment.

Customs & Compliance

• Maintain knowledge of customs clearance processes and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate status reports for customs brokers and clients.
• Assist with import/export documentation, including master BOL, commercial invoices, cargo releases, and delivery orders.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including INCOTERMS and tariff classifications.
• Monitor and audit entry filings for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Vendor & Client Coordination

• Serve as a liaison between manufacturers, freight carriers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
• Negotiate price quotations and financial procedures according to company policies.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma (Preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in import/export operations or logistics (Preferred).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of customs laws, tariffs, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to work with brokers, freight carriers, and international suppliers.
  • Proficiency in logistics coordination, vendor negotiations, and compliance monitoring.
