Full job description
Storable is seeking an information security analyst to work in our growing Information Security team. This role involves assessing security controls, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain and improve security compliance postures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, participating in security audits, overseeing governance frameworks, monitoring computer networks for security issues, participating in incident response, and documenting cyber incidents. To succeed in this role you will need to have experience in cyber security, have a strong IT background, be very detail oriented, have excellent problem solving skills, and work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC)
- Monitor and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks, providing guidance on security best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate security assessments, audits and certifications
- Assist in developing and implementing security awareness programs to educate employees on security, governance and compliance requirements
- Support third-party risk management by conducting security evaluations of vendors and partners
- Work with IT, Legal, and Risk teams to respond to compliance-related incidents and regulatory inquiries
- Contribute to incident response planning, execution and documentation of cyber security incidents
- Analyze information security related logs, reports and data to help identify risks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, audit or governance
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar
- Experience conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and regulatory compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, controls, and risk management practices
- Proficiency in security compliance tools, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms, or audit management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Experience working in cloud security compliance (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP security frameworks)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Security certification (e.g. Security+, SSCP, CISM, CISSP, CCSP)
- Experience with Crowdstrike Falcon EDR and Vanta
