Our Compliance team is seeking a detail-oriented AML Analyst with expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
???? AML Compliance & Transaction Monitoring
- Monitor customer transactions to detect and report suspicious activities in compliance with AML regulations.
- Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for regulatory submission.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into potentially suspicious activities.
⚖️ Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) per compliance guidelines.
- Evaluate risks associated with new customer onboarding and account activity.
???? Training & Reporting
- Assist in developing and delivering AML training programs for employees.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on AML activities and customer refreshes.
Qualifications & Skills
???? Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
- MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
???? Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry in AML compliance, KYC, or related fields.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification is required.
???? Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, including the USA PATRIOT Act and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Experience using AML software and tools (e.g., case management platforms, transaction monitoring systems).
???? Skills
- Excellent analytical and investigative abilities to assess financial transactions and detect suspicious activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance initiatives.
