Job Description
As an Analyst (Fresher), you will work on projects for investment banks, lenders, asset managers, hedge funds, large corporations, and consultancy firms. Your role will involve conducting financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and deal support activities while ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and applicability of financial data.
Roles & Responsibilities
???? Financial Analysis & Research
- Analyze and interpret financial statements to derive key insights.
- Perform basic financial modeling, valuation, and deal support activities.
- Conduct secondary research and present findings in a structured manner.
???? Project Execution & Client Communication
- Understand the scope, objectives, and work approach based on client type.
- Collaborate with project leads and communicate findings confidently.
- Assist in determining project timelines and ensuring timely completion.
⚡ Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Conduct sanity checks beyond raw data analysis.
- Identify and escalate risks or issues to project leads as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills
???? Essential Knowledge:
✔ Understanding of financial statements interpretation.
✔ Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation concepts.
✔ Strong communication (written & oral) and presentation skills.
✔ Excellent secondary research and analytical skills.
???? Desirable Knowledge & Skills:
✔ Familiarity with CMBS markets and financial data reporting.
✔ Experience in using third-party reports, loan documents, and borrower financial statements.
✔ Business acumen in analytics, valuation, and financial research.
✔ MS Excel financial modeling expertise.
