About the Role – Digital Measurement & Analytics

Create digital experiences that enhance our customers' lives at every touchpoint. Our Global Commercial Services (GCS) team is a leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and is one of the fastest-growing segments at American Express.

The Corporate Program Product Development (CPPD) team drives digital innovation and engagement by enhancing our B2B digital products through insights, user experience, and advanced functionality.

The Digital Measurement & Analytics team within CPPD delivers data-driven insights for GCS’s digital platforms, focusing on customer behavior, product performance, and strategic analytics to fuel business growth.


Purpose of the Role

The Digital Measurement & Analytics Analyst will drive actionable insights for GCS Digital Experiences by:

  • Measuring product performance

  • Conducting deep dives on customer behavior

  • Defining go-to-market segmentations

  • Driving data-backed decision-making

You will work cross-functionally with digital product teams, marketing, servicing, technologies, and field teams to define and execute analytical strategies, improve products, and support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Perform in-depth data analysis to support GCS Digital Experiences.

  • Define KPIs to measure product efficiency and customer engagement.

  • Conduct customer segmentation to improve adoption and engagement.

Strategic Analytics

  • Leverage closed-loop data and digital behavior to uncover product improvement opportunities.

  • Evaluate the impact of business strategies and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Design and execute A/B testing to measure and optimize product features.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Product, Technology, Field, Servicing, and Marketing teams.

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and product strategies.

Automation & Reporting

  • Build automated dashboards using Adobe Analytics or Tableau.

  • Ensure flawless execution of statistical projects and automated reports.

Continuous Learning & Process Improvement

  • Stay updated with advanced analytics and machine-learning techniques.

  • Continuously improve analytical processes through innovation and automation.


Required Qualifications

???? Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Finance.

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategic analytics.

  • Digital domain experience is preferred.

Skills & Capabilities:

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, PySpark, Hive, and data manipulation techniques.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

Analytical & Problem-Solving

  • Ability to analyze complex data, solve unstructured problems, and deliver insights.

  • Experience with A/B testing, behavioral analysis, and customer segmentation.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills to present complex insights effectively.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver actionable solutions.

Project Management

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs.

  • Experience with Agile product development is a plus.

Innovation & Automation

  • Passion for data science, machine learning, and automation.

  • Ability to create automated dashboards using Adobe Analytics or Tableau.
