What You'll Do:

BCG X is BCG's premier data science and advanced analytics capability with over 1000 data scientists, engineers, and analysts. As part of the Geo Analytics sub-team in X.Delivery, you will work on a variety of location-based analytical problems for clients, utilizing geospatial data and tools such as GIS, Python, and Tableau/Alteryx.

Your responsibilities will include:

Solving geospatial problems through geospatial clustering, network analysis, location-based optimization, and predictive analytics/modeling.

Working closely with clients to design and execute innovative analytical solutions.

Interpreting and delivering actionable insights to clients from your analytical findings.

What You'll Bring:
-
Undergraduate degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Geo-statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

1-3 years of relevant experience in Geo Analytics (advanced degree preferred).
-
Relevant degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, Urban Planning, Statistics/Geo Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Data management skills including data modeling, QA/QC, and database administration.
-
Proficiency in GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, CART.

Experience in data science programming/coding in Python and/or R.
-
Knowledge of descriptive statistics and statistical methods (e.g., correlation, regression, clustering) with applications in machine learning.

Exposure to BI/Data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI.
-
Experience with remotely sensed data is preferred.

You will work closely with various teams on client projects in the field of Geo Analytics.
