About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wells Solutions team at bp, a global group of technical specialists dedicated to delivering sustainable and scalable digital solutions across well operations. As a Requirements Management Specialist, you will manage, update, and digitize well requirements documents while supporting conformance and audit activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance, update, and digitization of wells requirements documents.

  • Facilitate requirements governance and management processes across wells operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) and simplification initiatives.

  • Provide support for audit activities and Management of Change (MoC) processes.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across wells and Production & Operations (P&O).

  • Collaborate with digital teams to implement digital tools and platforms for requirements management.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-hazard industries.

  • Proven experience in requirements management, operating management systems, and/or audit/MoC processes.


Preferred Skills and Knowledge

  • Prior experience in Wells or Upstream Oil & Gas operations.

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as DOORS or similar requirements management systems.

  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to present to senior leadership.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.


Collaboration & Stakeholders

  • Work with the Digital & Automation team to support digitization of processes.

  • Interface with Wells regions, advisors, and specialists to deliver consistent value.

  • Support Internal Audit for wells compliance activities.
