Business Overview

The US Consumer Services Team oversees our suite of consumer products and experiences across the U.S., which include premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, Global Dining and Resy, U.S. Consumer Banking, and top-tier marketing programs. Within this framework, the US Consumer Marketing (USCM) team creates and delivers world-class marketing for our differentiated products and services to drive demand and inspire engaged card members through every stage of the customer lifecycle.

The Marketing Analytics & Investment Services (MA&IS) team, part of USCM, provides critical targeting, analytics, and planning capabilities. Within MA&IS, the newly formed Prospect & Cobrand Insights team is on a mission to unlock performance insights in our cardmember acquisition channels and provide a holistic understanding of the revenue drivers behind over $2B in marketing spend.


Role Overview

As an Analyst – Prospect Performance Insights, you will play a key role in tracking and broadcasting US Consumer Marketing business results for Prospect Acquisitions relative to set goals. Your insights will empower leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions. Reporting to senior leaders within USCM, you’ll work closely with channel marketing teams to:

  • Optimize digital acquisition experiences across various prospect channels.
  • Uncover trends, risks, and opportunities through strategic analytics.
  • Enhance investment decisions by delivering actionable business insights.

This role provides excellent exposure to marketing strategies, big-bet initiatives, and the key drivers of growth, offering a unique opportunity to impact business outcomes at the highest level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Dashboard Management:

    • Maintain and validate reporting for Prospect Acquisitions.
    • Develop and refine dashboards focused on strategic initiatives, enabling deep dive analyses into key drivers.
  • Business Analytics & Insights:

    • Plan and execute analytics projects leveraging large datasets and defined KPIs.
    • Analyze complex data to derive business insights that inform better decision-making.
    • Develop and present insightful content for regular performance communication with senior leadership and key partners.
  • Collaboration & Support:

    • Work in close collaboration with channel marketing teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
    • Provide consultative support and thought partnership to peers and leaders.
    • Address production issues and compliance requirements while strengthening controls and agility.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience delivering reporting and insights from complex, large datasets.
  • Analytical Skills: Superior ability to analyze and synthesize large data sets into relevant insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Extreme precision and accuracy in work, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Intermediate experience in SQL Server.
    • Basic knowledge of Python or exposure to Google BigQuery is preferred.
    • Working knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization.
    • Strong aptitude with MS Excel and a solid understanding of PowerPoint.
