Established in 2009, The Hans Foundation is a Public Charitable Trust committed to creating an equitable society by empowering marginalized and underprivileged communities across India. Our work focuses on health, education, disability inclusion, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment. THF operates through both direct implementation and partnership-based models, having positively impacted over 35 million beneficiaries across the country.
THF is supporting 10 Balwadis (preschools) in Delhi aimed at enhancing the quality of early childhood education. The intervention includes the introduction of a digital learning system and strengthening the quality of foundational services.
Identify and mobilize children aged 3–6 years for enrollment.
Use and follow prescribed curriculum modules and learning materials.
Assess children's abilities and develop teaching plans accordingly.
Manage the class independently when the main teacher is unavailable.
Conduct both short-term and long-term assessments of children.
Maintain discipline, observe behavioral patterns, and provide necessary interventions.
Encourage consistent student attendance and engage with parents regularly.
Document daily activities and progress with assistance from the main teacher.
Participate in monthly review meetings and training/faculty development programs.
Adhere to child rights policies and maintain a child-safe learning environment.
Graduate or Undergraduate in any stream.
1–2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or primary school.
Strong command of verbal and written communication.
Basic computer proficiency.
Experience handling diverse and multicultural classrooms.
Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity toward the needs of young children.
Knowledge of child development principles and preschool education methods.
Ability to ensure safety, hygiene, and a positive classroom environment.
Child-focused mindset with an understanding of early education pedagogy.
Balance between creativity and practical implementation.
Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Commitment to student progress, child protection, and inclusive education.
