Responsibilities:
- Help business stakeholders understand, interpret, and improve operational performance through data analysis.
- Analyze complex data to identify patterns, trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Create hypotheses to explain business outcomes and validate them with data; design experiments to collect additional data when necessary.
- Develop algorithms, models, and decision support systems to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Identify gaps in data and collaborate with business, technology, and data teams to implement systems for data collection and storage.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover underlying patterns, anomalies, and relationships in data sets.
- Use statistical methods and data visualization techniques to summarize findings and insights.
- Prepare and present comprehensive EDA reports to stakeholders, highlighting significant findings and recommendations.
Skills Required:
- Familiarity with analytics techniques such as time series analysis, regression analysis, cohort analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, sentiment analysis, and simulation.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret diverse business scenarios with numbers.
- Strong proficiency in statistics, statistical tools, and methodologies.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL; proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, Power Query, and DAX), Python, or R.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting with expertise in handling complex business data.
- Experience with Statistical Analysis and ML models to build and implement robust Decision Support Systems.
- Exposure to text analytics, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and LLM / RAG application development is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings in English.
