Position Overview:
The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between the Product and Development teams, focusing on requirements development to execute the product platform roadmap. Under the direction of the Product Management team, this role will lead discussions with stakeholders, analyze business needs, define solutions, and ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Systems Analysis:
Analyze current business systems and optimize necessary changes to meet evolving business needs. -
Requirement Gathering:
Solicit business system requirements and priorities from internal and external stakeholders. Use insights and data to clarify needs. -
Collaboration:
Work with Product Managers and UX to document product user stories, business system requirements, process flows, and other launch artifacts. -
Communication:
Communicate priorities, risks, and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership. -
Product Deliverables:
Execute and track product deliverables, ensuring they meet established milestones. -
Team Alignment:
Ensure alignment and collaboration with other VitalEdge teams, including project and application teams. -
Solution Creation:
Apply business analysis principles, tools, and methodologies to create innovative solutions.
Required Skills & Education:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:
-
4-7 years’ experience in Business Analysis or a related area.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to influence leaders and facilitate decision-making.

Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects effectively.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
-
Fundamental conceptual and analytical thinking with attention to detail.

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Experience collaborating with remote and offshore agile teams.

Competency in Jira, Confluence, digital collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Product Management Understanding:

Understanding and application of Product Management strategies to improve user and customer outcomes.

Project Management Skills:

Solid project management experience and organizational skills.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of the Heavy Equipment, Automotive, or Recreation industry, or relevant customer environments.

Experience in product marketing or technical domains related to the industry.
Travel Requirements:
This role may require periodic travel to the US or Canada approximately 4-5 times per year for a few days.
