Job Title: Data Operations Analyst – ICA (Incident & Client Advisory)

As a Data Operations Analyst within the Incident & Client Advisory (ICA) team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm through strong process controls and risk oversight, especially during client onboarding. You’ll assess Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) risks, make independent recommendations, and collaborate with global teams to ensure regulatory alignment. This is a front-line defense role demanding precision, analytical strength, and cross-functional collaboration.
Guide Bankers on reputational and financial crime concerns and support submissions to the Reputational Risk Committee and AML Forum/Committee.
Collaborate with Bankers to prepare Client Review Forum submissions related to client fit and risk tolerance.
Work alongside Global Financial Crime Compliance and Risk teams on high-risk client issues.
Review overnight screening alerts, evaluate outcomes, and ensure appropriate dispositions.
Coordinate closely with global ICA counterparts to share practices and resolve issues.
Ensure process quality and adherence to procedural standards; escalate issues when needed.
Handle sensitive client data confidentially and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Conduct onboarding training and refresher sessions for new and existing staff.
Support compliance efforts during regulatory audits, initiatives, and documentation requests.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in KYC/AML roles.
Strong understanding of regulatory rules for EMEA jurisdictions.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
High risk awareness and ability to make independent, detail-oriented analysis.
Proficient in managing tasks in a fast-paced environment and escalating when necessary.
Proactive, responsible, and capable of supporting broader team functions.
In-depth knowledge of wealth management or private banking.
Previous experience managing AML escalations.
Excellent team player – collaborative, open to sharing knowledge, and highly communicative.
