Job Description

As an Analyst within the Markets team, you will support the Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Structuring/Origination and CLO Syndicate teams at JPMorgan, London, with a focus on structuring and modeling CLO transactions.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Deal Execution & Structuring:
- Work closely with senior Structuring/Originations team members, Syndicate, Legal Counsel, and Rating Agencies throughout all deal phases.
- Participate in portfolio analysis, capital structure tranching/rating, and documentation.
- Gain expertise in analytic tools and models required for transaction sizing for rating agencies.
✔ CLO Modeling & Market Monitoring:
- Model CLO transactions for rating agencies, issuers, and investor clients using various CLO modeling tools.
- Monitor and prepare materials to update senior bankers and marketers on current market conditions, focusing on asset and liability yields, issuance levels, and structural features.
✔ Client & Internal Support:
- Create marketing materials for CLO clients.
- Track and monitor the desk’s P&L, reconciling with finance teams.
- Prepare materials for internal meetings and approvals.
- Assist in responding to investor requests and monitoring warehouse exposure.
- Liaise with Middle Office, Finance, and Technology teams for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
✔ Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (both written & oral).
✔ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
✔ High proficiency in coding/VBA/programming skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
✔ Experience in Finance, Investment Banking, and Global Markets is a plus.
✔ Knowledge of CLOs or structured finance/ABS is advantageous.
