???? Role Overview:
The Customer Service Analyst in this role will primarily focus on Retirement Planning Services, leading the transition and conversion of Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plans like 401(k) and 403(b). You’ll be responsible for managing the full conversion life cycle, including data analysis, migration, and reconciliation processes. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and record-keepers to ensure seamless data transformation and retirement plan management.
???????? Key Responsibilities:

Lead Conversion Sessions:
-
Conduct design sessions with clients to create design documents, mapping, and transformation documents.

Transition end-to-end DC 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plans from prior service providers to current ones, involving the transfer of plan assets, participant records, and conversion data files.

Data Conversion & Strategy:
-
Research and recommend data conversion strategies for complex retirement plans.

Analyze client data in its received format, identify data deficiencies, and propose remediation.

Construct a Statement of Work outlining the conversion process and reformat data into required specifications.

Data Migration & Testing:
-
Manage the migration and testing of static and transactional data for plan conversion.
-
Develop files that transform large data sets into the required retirement product formats.

Perform audits, reconciliation, and exception reporting for data migration.

Communication & Project Management:
-
Communicate data requirements clearly to clients, record-keepers, or project teams.

Consult with clients to follow best practices and implement code-based solutions for data conversion.

Take ownership of the entire data conversion life cycle, ensuring high-quality and timely results.

Report Development & Collaboration:

Develop reports using SQL Server, MS Access, Cognos, and Discovery for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal project management, clients, and record-keepers to ensure smooth data flow.

???????? Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
-
Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, and other ETL tools knowledge is required.

Familiarity with data migration audits, reconciliation, and exception reporting.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in the US Retirement Services domain, specifically with Defined Contribution (DC) plans like 401(k), 403(b), and 457.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analyst position, specifically related to plan conversion.

Key Competencies:

Strong analytical skills, with experience in working with large data sets (census files, payroll/financial files).

Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical resources.

Ability to manage the entire data conversion process and meet deadlines.

Basic understanding of conversion reconciliation methodology and proprietary systems for retirement services.
