Role Overview:

As a Data Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and maintaining accurate investment data from a variety of sources. This role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, data interpretation skills, and collaboration with global teams to ensure high data quality and support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, interpret, and manage fund and investment data using internal systems.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, meeting internal quality benchmarks.

  • Own data quality control processes to ensure product and client requirements are met.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with external data vendors and fund houses.

  • Deepen knowledge of regional data, methodologies, and investment products.

  • Participate in team discussions, raise concerns, and contribute to process and methodology decisions.

  • Drive process improvement using Lean Six Sigma, automation, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Collaborate with quality assurance, product, and technical teams to resolve data-related issues.

  • Identify automation opportunities and support their implementation with leadership.

  • Manage performance effectively during high-pressure periods and deadlines.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Statistics.

  • 1–2 years of experience in data analysis or research; knowledge of capital/secondary markets preferred.

  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL and database management (advanced users preferred).

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Passion for learning and working with emerging AI/GenAI technologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (AU, UK, US time zones).
