The Data Research team supports expert editors by collecting, classifying, and reviewing data to help produce high-quality content. The team ensures Forbes delivers accurate, engaging, and timely content for various industries, including finance, health, business, and more.
Job Description:
As an Associate Data Researcher, you will work closely with Research Managers to collect and compile data related to financial products, including loans, mortgages, savings accounts, credit cards, online brokerage, insurance, and topics such as health products, home improvement, entrepreneurship, legal services, education, and SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and compiling relevant datasets from both internal and external sources to support research initiatives.

Conduct data cleaning and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of research projects.

Collaborate with senior researchers to brainstorm and execute data research projects.

Maintain data quality by performing regular data audits and quality control tasks.

Provide ad-hoc research support for ongoing or new projects within the data research team.

Ensure data is entered correctly and follows the expected format.

Identify any discrepancies, non-conforming data, or issues, and escalate them if necessary.
Skills & Experience:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Data Researcher to join our team.
