About the Role
Veye Research Private Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing ASX-listed companies, assisting in research report preparation, and learning advanced financial modelling techniques.
You will work closely with experienced analysts, develop expertise in equity research, and play an integral role in tracking and analyzing market trends and stock performance.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Equity Analysis & Research:

Analyze key listed companies and sectors in the Australian Stock Market (ASX).

Monitor and evaluate stock performance using fundamental and technical analysis.
✅ Research Report Preparation:
-
Assist in the creation of reports like Daily Analysis, Stock of the Week, and Dividend Investor Reports.

Support the financial modelling process (e.g., DCF models, three-way modelling, and forecasting).
✅ Market & Financial Insights:
-
Conduct market research, identify trends, and present findings through written reports and presentations.

Collaborate with senior analysts to deliver actionable recommendations.
✅ Client & Internal Communication:

Gain exposure to company management teams and internal sales for a comprehensive understanding of operations.
Skills & Experience Required
✔️ Essential Skills:

Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn financial modelling.

Basic understanding of equity research, financial statements, and stock analysis.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a proactive attitude.
✔️ Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with technical analysis tools (e.g., candlestick charts, MACD, RSI, and moving averages).

Understanding of stock valuation methods and forecasting techniques.
✔️ Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Required).
???? Experience:

1 year of experience in equity research and financial report writing (Required).

Prior exposure to stock market analysis or financial research internships (preferred but not mandatory).
