Key Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Create exclusive fashion collections focusing on hand embroidery, silks, and Indian prints for both men and women.
- Trend Research: Stay updated on current fashion trends, materials, and techniques, incorporating these insights into the design process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with artisans, tailors, and other designers to integrate diverse cultural techniques and perspectives into the collections.
- Concept to Final Product: Lead the entire design process, including sketching, fabric selection, and prototype creation.
- Sustainability Focus: Ensure all designs align with the brand’s sustainability goals, utilizing recycled materials and maintaining fair labor practices.
- Presentation & Refinement: Present design concepts and prototypes to the executive team and refine collections based on their feedback.
- Industry Knowledge: Keep up to date with emerging technologies, materials, and sustainable fashion practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Technical Design Oversight: Oversee the creation of technical design packs to ensure accurate specifications for production.
- Marketing Support: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, emphasizing the storytelling behind the designs and production process.
