As a Funds Onboarding Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and compliant onboarding of clients in the banking industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding: Support with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding activities, including KYC processing, quality checking, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to government regulations, financial industry standards, and key legal agreements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients and the front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information and ensure KYC compliance.

  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in the onboarding process, streamline workflows, and propose recommendations to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams within Barclays to align and integrate Wholesale Onboarding processes.

  • Reporting and Performance Tracking: Develop reports and presentations to communicate Wholesale Onboarding performance to internal stakeholders.

  • Trend Identification: Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to improve onboarding efficiency.

  • Risk Management: Take ownership of risk management and strengthening controls within your responsibilities.


Key Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of Trade Lifecycle: Possess a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle to ensure efficient onboarding and trade execution.

  • Financial Products Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial security products and documentation requirements for client onboarding.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC policies and legal agreements.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the onboarding process.

  • Attention to Detail: Evaluate factual information and resolve problems with a strong focus on accuracy.

  • Leadership & People Management: If applicable, supervise and mentor junior team members, allocating work and coordinating resources. Guide and support team members for professional development.

  • Client Engagement: Maintain high standards of customer service and guide clients through the onboarding process.

  • Collaboration & Influence: Partner with teams and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and manage risk effectively.
