Position: Investment Banking Analyst
Department: Investment Research
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Reporting To: Head of Research
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Meet and exceed client expectations.
- Direct interaction with clients to address queries and provide solutions.
Delivery Management:
- Independently deliver diverse research assignments across:
- M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and Advisory
- Equity/Credit Modeling
- Company Tear Sheets
- Industry Research
- Pitchbooks
- Peer Comparisons & Precedent Transaction Comparisons
- M&A Valuations
- News & Impact Analysis
- Conduct private company valuation for PE/VC clients, advisory firms, corporates, and start-ups.
- Ensure 100% client satisfaction through quality delivery.
Marketing & Business Development Support:
- Assist in collateral and sample creation.
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership content.
Educational, Experience, and Skills Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed institution.
- 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking/Equity Research, preferably with investment banks, sell-side firms, or KPOs.
- Strong expertise in:
- Equity modeling & valuation (DCF, SOTP, RV)
- Initiation coverage notes
- Investment idea generation
- Industry research & M&A valuations
- Pitchbooks & financial modeling
- Excellent financial/cash flow modeling skills.
- Strong analytical writing skills and industry specialization are desirable.
- Proficiency in third-party financial databases is mandatory.
- Proven client management experience.

- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- High level of professional ethics and business etiquette.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical.
