Key Responsibilities
???? Patent Research & Analysis
- Conduct high-quality prior art searches in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop client-specific search strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Examine and evaluate patent documents and search results.
???? Advanced IP Research (depending on experience level)
- Perform freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches under supervision or independently.
- Conduct patent landscape analyses to provide insights into technological trends and competitive environments.
???? Search Strategy & Reporting
- Refine search strategies based on client objectives and specific IP queries.
- Create in-depth search reports summarizing findings on patentability, validity, and market trends.
Required Skills & Experience
✔ Prior Experience
- Previous experience as an IP Analyst with a strong foundation in patent research and analysis.
- Proficiency in Boolean search strategies and global patent databases (including AI-based search tools).
- Familiarity with engineering, science, or related technical fields to accurately assess patent documents.
✔ Technical & Analytical Skills
- Ability to conduct thorough prior art searches and generate detailed reports.
- Strong attention to detail to review search lists and patent documents with precision.
- Experience working with ISO 9001 standards for patent search and compliance.
✔ Communication & Collaboration
- Ability to effectively communicate research findings through written reports and presentations.
- Strong collaboration skills to work within a global team environment.
