We are seeking a Business Analyst (Technical Writer) with expertise in proposal writing for US federal/state government projects. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing complex business requirements, preparing effective content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires excellent written communication skills and a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR (DFAR).
✅ Proposal Development:
Analyze Federal/State Government RFPs/RFQs and prepare clear, compelling proposal content.
Consolidate customer needs, competitive differentiators, and proposal risks to aid decision-making.
Manage the proposal lifecycle – including scheduling, outlining, and writing proposal sections.
✅ Content Creation & Editing:
Design and incorporate functional, architectural, and process mapping graphics.
Edit and revise proposals for readability, compliance, and effective messaging.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual guidelines.
✅ Collaboration & Coordination:
Collaborate with sales, operations, and other internal teams to deliver high-quality proposals.
Support team performance through active assistance and leadership in proposal development.
Participate in storyboarding sessions and document reviews for continuous improvement.
✅ Research & Strategy:
Conduct market research on clients and competitors to craft targeted messaging.
Present content concepts and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
✅ Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Analytical or Business Management (preferred).
✅ Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Analysis.
Minimum 1 year experience in proposal writing and managing the RFP/RFQ process.
Proven success in writing and managing winning proposals.
✅ Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR (DFAR).
Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure operations and maintenance support.
Proficiency in visual presentation (design and layout) is a plus.
✅ Soft Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision.
✅ Preferred:
Formal proposal or project management certification.
Technical certifications or advanced technical knowledge.
