About Global New Accounts (GNA)

The Global New Accounts (GNA) team is responsible for reviewing and approving new and existing customer applications. As the first point of contact for American Express customers, we ensure seamless onboarding by providing one-touch solutions.

  • 150+ Customer Care Professionals (CCPs) dedicated to extraordinary customer service
  • Handling both inbound and outbound interactions
  • Solely based in India, ensuring focused and specialized support for US customers

Key Responsibilities

  • Process card applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring error-free handling.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to US applicants and Card Members.
  • Analyze customer profiles and adhere to procedures while processing applications.
  • Demonstrate strong customer connection skills, going beyond standard service expectations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer data and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
  • Assist in audit, compliance, and internal control processes to ensure operational integrity.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for American Express.
  • Support day-to-day account processing and contribute to new initiatives.

Shift Timings: 24×7 (rotational shifts)


Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to implement effective communication plans.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
