Join a US-based logistics company expanding operations in India! The company is in the process of setting up its office in Mysore, with remote work arrangements available for the first 4–5 months. Once the office is established, relocation to Mysore will be required.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our finance team. You will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, mitigating financial risk, and ensuring accurate account setup and maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization and play a key role in establishing financial protocols and practices in India.
Review and process credit applications for new customers.
Analyze credit data, payment history, and open account balances to determine risk.
Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring correct credit limits, terms, and risk levels.
Regularly update and assess credit for existing customers.
Minimize exposure and flag high-risk accounts.
Deactivate or adjust credit terms as required.
Communicate with internal departments and external clients to resolve credit issues.
Validate and monitor specialized or subsidiary accounts.
Complete additional projects or duties as assigned.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Credit Analyst role.
Strong knowledge of credit and collections processes and billing procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience in a logistics or trucking industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Understanding of credit risk assessment and mitigation.
Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and within a remote/hybrid team environment.
This position requires relocation to Mysore once the office setup is complete.
Temporary remote work is allowed until the Mysore office is operational.
Shift timing aligned with the UK business hours.
