Role Overview
As a Product Designer at Amex GBT, you will help transform complexity into clarity, delivering design solutions that empower business travelers. You'll create intuitive, user-centered designs that meet the evolving needs of our users. You will be part of a centralized design team working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver global designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
Your work will directly contribute to the mission of redefining business travel through design innovation.
What You’ll Do:

User Research:
Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, creating user personas, journey maps, and experience maps. -
Design Concepts & Prototyping:
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design ideas, ensuring a user-centered approach. -
Usability Testing & Iteration:
Conduct usability testing to gather feedback, then iterate on designs to improve user experiences. -
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business goals. -
Design System:
Maintain and contribute to the design system, ensuring design consistency across all products. -
Project Management:
Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results on time. -
Stay Current:
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to improve design processes.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience:
+5 years of experience in Product Design, ideally within a B2B or SaaS environment. -
Portfolio:
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design principles, processes, and deliverables. -
Skills:
Proficiency in Figma and experience with user research methodologies and tools. Visual design skills are a plus. -
Communication:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions effectively. -
Problem-solving:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex problems. -
Accessibility Knowledge:
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. -
Language Skills:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
