Job Description:
The SAP Basis Technical Analyst role combines both SAP Basis Administration and SAP Technical Analyst duties. The primary responsibilities include assisting with SAP applications configurations, deployments, integrations, and troubleshooting to ensure client business goals are achieved. This role requires working closely with client SAP configurations and upgrades, as well as integrating APEX Supplier Products and Services with SAP ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administrator Duties:
- Design and Deploy SAP Landscapes: Manage and configure SAP environments such as S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0, SAP BI, SAP HR, SAP SRM, SAP CRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portals, and other SAP components.
- System Customization and Troubleshooting: Install, configure, and customize SAP ECC software to integrate with Apex Web APIs and handle data export routines.
- Upgrade and Patch Management: Perform OSS Notes updates, SAP upgrades, add-on deployments, Kernel upgrades, and major release upgrades.
- System Monitoring and Security: Monitor system performance, address issues, perform system refreshes, and ensure security measures such as SSL/HTTPS configurations are properly set up.
- Migrations and Data Handling: Perform OS and database migrations using DMO, and ensure integration between SAP and third-party systems using SOA Manager, SPROXY, and client/server proxies.
SAP Technical Analyst Duties:
- Data Integration and API Development: Assist clients in customizing SAP software to work with Apex Web APIs and data export routines.
- ABAP Programming & Web Services: Develop and maintain ABAP programs, web services, and data extraction solutions for third-party integrations.
- Interface Programming: Work with SAP modules such as SD, PM, MM, HR, PO, FI/CO, AR/AP, CRM, and SRM to facilitate data exchanges.
- Business Process Automation: Automate business partner functions and develop custom automation solutions.
- Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debug complex programs to identify and resolve issues.
- Client Support: Provide technical support during user acceptance, parallel testing, and Go-Live phases.
Requirements:

Experience:
- 10+ years in IT, with at least 3 years of experience managing SAP data integrations and providing solutions with third-party tools.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming and Data Integration.

Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of S/4HANA, ECC environments and ABAP programming (ABAP Objects, SAP Script, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).
- Experience in Data Integration and extraction with third-party applications via Web Services, OData, JSON, and SOA.
- Proficient in SAP Modules such as SD, MM, HR, FI/CO, and others.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, UML, XML, HTML, JavaScript and open-source frameworks like Struts.

- Expertise in API & Web Services Development.
- Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and interface development.
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and testing skills.

- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field.
