Job Summary
The SAP SD / CS / PS Analyst position at Emerson is an outstanding opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to a world-class IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution and support of SAP systems across multiple regions and sites. In addition to mastering SAP SD, you will be instrumental in learning, improving, and standardizing CS and PS designs, thereby reducing support complexity.
Manage SD, CS, and PS issues, requests, and changes. Engage in RUN, Change, and projects!
Responsibilities
System Support & Issue Resolution
-
Complete SAP SD and CS / PS bug fixes and minor improvements.
-
Resolve tickets and deliver changes within the Emerson Automation Solutions Run Support Team.
-
Participate in weekly SD/CS/PS meetings with internal and external teams.
SAP Configuration & Customization
-
Design and implement SAP SD, CS, and PS configurations in Emerson Automation Solutions SAP Systems.
-
Review and validate SD, CS, and PS Functional Specifications built by third parties and the change team.
-
Receive and incorporate knowledge transfers from the change team.
Compliance & Process Optimization
-
Audit third-party processes to ensure strict compliance with Emerson standards.
-
Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, Security, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth development and execution.
-
Work closely with Business teams to optimize solution delivery and scheduling.
Testing & Documentation
-
Participate in system testing and regression testing, ensuring adherence to Emerson processes, policies, and procedures.
-
Translate business requirements into detailed technical/functional specifications.
Who You Are
You show initiative, excel at problem-solving, and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You can analyze complex business processes, ensure resource efficiency, and work effectively in global, collaborative environments.
Qualifications
Required:
-
5-6 years of relevant IT experience in SAP SD, CS, and PS.
-
Proven experience coordinating with multiple internal staff and consultants in a matrixed organization.

Strong analytical ability and process-oriented mindset.
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
-
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
-
Understanding of SAP customizing tools, sales, and manufacturing processes.
-
Knowledge of SAP architecture and integration with PP, MM, FICO, and VC modules.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
-
SAP certification in SD, CS, or PS modules.
-
Experience with EDI, IDOC processing, Vertex, Trax, and Tradesphere.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
