Responsibilities

Lead SAP MM & WM bug fixes and minor enhancements: Ensure successful implementation that meets Emerson's high standards.

Host or participate in weekly MM & WM meetings: Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive continuous improvement.
-
Audit third-party processes: Enforce compliance with Emerson's quality and operational standards.
-
Design and implement SAP MM & WM configurations and customizations: Lead configuration efforts within Emerson Automation Solutions SAP Systems.
-
Represent MM & WM in key meetings: Engage with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to align expectations.
-
Review MM & WM functional specifications: Ensure accuracy and completeness of specifications built by third parties and the change team.
-
Receive knowledge transfer from the change team: Continuously improve skills to maintain Emerson’s competitive edge.
-
Manage ticket resolution, change delivery, and release delivery: Oversee these processes within the Emerson Automation Solutions Run Support Team.

Utilize expertise in SAP MM & WM to solve technical issues: Ensure seamless integration with other modules like PP, SD, FICO, and VC.
-
Translate business requirements into detailed specifications: Accurately document business needs and validate them.
-
Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, Security, and Business teams: Optimize solution delivery through strategic planning and execution.
-
Coordinate and complete workstream activities: Monitor progress and address delays or issues.
-
Conduct system and regression testing: Maintain the highest quality standards.
-
Resolve customer and partner concerns related to MM & WM: Address business user and internal/external counterpart concerns promptly.
-
Follow Emerson processes, policies, and procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards.
Who You Are
You demonstrate exceptional initiative in challenging situations and excel at identifying and seizing opportunities. You are skilled at navigating group dynamics, selecting the best-fit approach, and ensuring precise execution of plans with energy and determination.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience in SAP MM/WM with a proven track record.

Experience coordinating with multiple internal staff and consultants within a matrixed organization.
-
Strong analytical skills and process orientation to manage complexity independently.
-
Collaboration in a global environment with proven ability to align with multiple stakeholders.
-
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
-
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
-
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and effective collaboration.
Preferred:
-
Experience in technical interface support and knowledge of EDI, Trax, Taxware, and Tradesphere.

Deep knowledge of SAP’s customizing toolset, including the Implementation Management Guide (IMG).
-
Expertise in SAP data model in MM & WM.
-
In-depth knowledge of sales & manufacturing processes and plant environments.
-
Comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture for efficient solutions.
-
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.

Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) for working with overseas teams.
