Job Description – Senior Analyst
As a Senior Analyst at Skillz, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights to drive strategic initiatives. Reporting to Arun Jose Philip, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with teams across departments to align goals and strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that inform business decisions.
- Communicate findings to upper management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the company's analytical capabilities.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Python experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and statistical testing.
- Passion for gaming and experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of career growth and measurable achievements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to diverse stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferred but not required) in analytics, marketing, business, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
