Job Description – Senior Analyst, Data & Insights
As a Senior Analyst at Skillz, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights to drive business decisions. Reporting to Arun Jose Philip, you will work closely with multiple teams, identifying trends, visualizing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with diverse teams to align goals and strategies.
✔ Data Analysis & Insights: Identify trends and patterns in large datasets to inform decision-making.
✔ Risk Analysis & Recommendations: Highlight areas of risk and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
✔ Enhancing Analytical Capabilities: Drive initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making within the organization.
✔ Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
✔ Team Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis
✅ Strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau
✅ Knowledge of Python is a plus
✅ Understanding of machine learning concepts and statistical testing
✅ Ability to communicate complex analytical insights to diverse stakeholders
✅ Passion for gaming is an asset; gaming industry experience is a plus
✅ Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred but not required) in analytics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
