Role Overview
As a Senior Analyst Customer Applications Support, you will be responsible for application delivery, training, professional services, and providing second-level support. You'll support the team in service management, incident/request/change/problem management, deployment, advisory, and customer satisfaction. You will be a part of the SITA FOR AIRCRAFT Customer Services & Operations team, reporting to the Senior Manager Application Operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to deploy new application releases, ensuring customers benefit from the latest SITA for Aircraft applications for flight operations.

  • Install and configure applications, deliver training to flight operations and aircraft maintenance teams at airlines.

  • Ensure that defined service levels are met for your team’s service delivery and support.

  • In case of issues, be part of a “resolver group” to assess the situation, propose workarounds, and provide root cause analysis for corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and the Engineering team for corrections/updates when necessary.

  • Enforce SLAs, communicate with customers directly or through another customer-facing team regarding incidents, problems, and maintenance outages.

  • Use ServiceNow for managing tickets, incident reporting, and service requests.


Qualifications:

  • University degree: B. Tech./B.E. in Electronics & Telecomm or Computer Science/IT.

  • 4+ years of Airline Flight Operations experience with Flight Operations Applications.

  • Knowledge of Avionics, ACARS, and datalink with Avionics AOC is essential.

  • Experience with airline products & services including aircraft communication services and flight operations systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in customer-facing environments, capable of stakeholder engagement and effective communication.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (MS-Windows Server, Linux, MySQL, MS-SQL databases) is an advantage.

  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification and understanding of ITIL methodologies.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems preferred.
