Role Overview
As part of Citi’s Risk Management organization, the Assistant Vice President, Senior Analyst for Wholesale Portfolio Monitoring plays a pivotal role in overseeing risk-taking activities and assessing risks independently of the front-line units. You will contribute to maintaining the enterprise risk management framework to ensure the ability to identify, measure, monitor, control, and report material risks.
This role is an intermediate-level position (Internal Job Title: Credit Portfolio Sr Analyst - C12) and offers you the chance to shape your career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Early Warning Signal (EWS) Framework Governance:
-
Drive execution of the EWS-RFA (Red Flag Account) Program, collaborating with various stakeholders including the Fraud Monitoring Group (FMG) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Monitor notices from law enforcement agencies and conduct independent assessments of information related to EWS alerts.
-
Maintain program documentation and continuously update the EWS/Fraud program.

Committee Materials:
-
Coordinate FMG meetings on a fortnightly basis, ensuring quorum, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-ups.
-
Prepare EWS-related materials for senior leadership and governance committees.
-

Regulatory:
-
Manage regulatory submissions for EWS, including quarterly reporting and annual regulatory inspections.
-
Conduct gap assessments on new regulatory requirements related to EWS.
-

System-Related Activities:
-
Collaborate with technology teams on EWS automation projects, including gathering requirements, preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and testing.

Monitor the performance of EWS applications and work with vendors and technology teams for improvements.

Manage updates and automation for End User Computing (EUC) controls related to the EWS system.

Other Activities:

Coordinate Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) testing for feeder units and the Portfolio Monitoring Unit.

Liaise with internal/external auditors on EWS matters.

Manage third-party due diligence for forensic auditors and coordinate with internal teams for specific assignments.

Risk Management:

Assess and mitigate risk while driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Safeguard Citigroup’s reputation, clients, and assets while making sound ethical decisions.

Qualifications

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of local regulations and risk management processes.

Skills: Ability to remain organized and focused in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and drive results with urgency. Proven interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree/University Degree or equivalent experience.
