Job Summary:
An esteemed architecture and urban planning firm in Delhi is seeking a Senior Botanist with 10+ years of experience in plant science, urban ecology, and landscape sustainability. The role requires a visionary expert who can integrate botany with architecture to develop climate-resilient, biodiverse, and sustainable urban environments.
This position involves close collaboration with architects, landscape designers, and urban planners to enhance urban greenery and develop innovative plant-based solutions for modern cities.
Key Responsibilities:
???? Integration of Botany with Architecture & Urban Design

Collaborate with architects & landscape designers to integrate native & climate-resilient plant species into urban projects.

Provide expertise in vertical gardens, rooftop greenery, bio-walls, and smart landscaping.

Design eco-sensitive landscapes to enhance biodiversity and reduce the urban heat island effect.

Develop sustainable planting solutions for parks, urban forests, and public spaces.
???? Research & Sustainable Innovation

Conduct research on plant-based air purification, water-efficient landscaping, and soil conservation.

Utilize GIS mapping, remote sensing, and AI-driven plant analysis for urban biodiversity planning.

Develop climate-responsive green infrastructure and nature-based solutions for urban resilience.

Innovate sustainable irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and permaculture techniques.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
