At Nutanix, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our Global Design team in Bangalore, India. This is an exciting opportunity for a design leader with a strong domain expertise who thrives on solving complex problems and working in a globally distributed design environment.

We seek a natural leader and passionate designer who can guide multiple designs and team members while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
???? Key Responsibilities:
✅ Build a deep understanding of the NDB / DBaaS product domain and establish a strong reputation.
✅ Provide thought leadership in design, research, and stakeholder collaboration.
✅ Break down highly complex problems and deliver simple, elegant solutions.
✅ Guide design execution, focusing on innovation, micro-interactions, and craft skills.
✅ Collaborate effectively with support, sales, UI development, and backend engineering teams.
✅ Challenge the status quo and ensure UX excellence in strategy and implementation.
✅ Influence feature direction based on customer insights.
✅ Identify gaps in the design process and drive continuous improvements.
✅ Deliver exceptional presentations and communications to cross-functional teams.
Your Role
As a Senior UX Designer, you will:
???? Independently plan and execute formative and summative user research.
???? Educate stakeholders on design capabilities and processes.
???? Work on data visualization and enterprise software solutions.
???? Apply accessibility guidelines and best practices to designs.
???? Facilitate design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
???? Have working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
What You Will Bring
???? Bachelor’s or advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
???? 8+ years of experience in enterprise or consumer product design.
???? Experience designing for complex and technical domains.
???? Passion for storytelling, user-centered design, and simplifying complexity.
???? Strong proficiency in wireframing, design, and prototyping tools.
???? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
???? Ability to work cooperatively and influence stakeholders effectively.
Work Arrangement
???? Hybrid Model – Blend the benefits of remote work with in-person collaboration.
???? Expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week, with additional team-specific guidance provided by your manager.
