We are seeking an ambitious self-starter to join our Optimization and Reporting team as a Social Listening Analyst. This individual will be responsible for driving real-time understanding of issues impacting clients’ businesses and brands and will lead comprehensive reporting on emerging situations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys translating complex narratives into actionable insights for clients.
Social Listening and Monitoring:
Monitor and identify digital content in real-time to support crisis communications efforts.
Daily social listening and analytics reports in alignment with clients' business priorities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Interpret large amounts of social media data to determine trends and insights.
Analyze the competitive landscape and responses to key topics.
Present findings in a digestible format for C-suite executives.
Insight Generation:
Develop and refine strategies to improve social listening efforts and automate processes.
Stay up-to-date with client brand priorities (e.g., announcements, events, PR issues).
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate as part of a team of social media experts.
Opportunity to lead junior analysts and contribute to organizational goals.
Experience:
Strong background in social media analytics or a keen desire to learn.
Passion for analytics and problem-solving.
Experience in delivering executive presentations and working in large corporate environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with social media listening platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Sprout Social).
Advanced Boolean search knowledge preferred.
Communication:
Strong written, verbal, and online communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex ideas and present insights clearly.
Education:
Degree in marketing/market research, data analytics, economics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with data visualization and dashboard design is a plus.
Remote work environment.
