Role Overview
As an Application Architect, you will design and guide the development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications that support Global Business Consulting’s (GBC) data-driven consulting services. You will provide technical leadership, drive innovation, and ensure best practices across development and data engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
-
Architect and design robust, scalable, and high-availability application solutions to support GBC’s consulting offerings
-
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate emerging technologies into the existing tech stack to enhance innovation and performance
-
Lead development teams, offering technical direction, mentoring, and code reviews throughout the full lifecycle
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
-
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural governance, and best practices in software development and data management
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
10+ years of full-stack software development experience in enterprise environments
-
Strong hands-on experience in:
-
React, REST APIs, .NET Core, Python, SQL
-
AWS foundational services and serverless technologies
-
Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent containerization tools
-
-
5+ years of experience with BI/Data platforms, data modeling, ETL processes, and tools like Tableau and Alteryx
-
Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
-
AI/ML experience is a plus
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
-
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in geographically distributed teams
