Job Description

The UC Voice Analyst will be responsible for migrating Smiths' fixed-line voice and telephony estate to Microsoft Teams Telephony and supporting the Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure. The role involves working with vendors and internal teams to ensure system uptime, performance, and smooth migrations while tracking expenses and managing invoices.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Provide technical support for fixed-line voice and telephony/UC
2nd line support for all telephony-related issues
Manage & document Smiths’ voice, toll-free, and fixed-line environments
Resolve support tickets, outages, and major incidents
Monitor & report on UC performance and usage
Support divestitures and acquisitions
Maintain & support voice gateways (Audiocodes)
✔ Assist in new UC/Voice deployments
✔ Follow best practices for customer service & compliance
Track monthly invoices for telephony expenses
✔ Identify and eliminate unused phone lines to reduce costs
Work across different time zones (APAC, EMEA, North America)


Qualifications & Experience

???? 1-2 years of experience in telephony & fixed-line voice systems (POTS, ISDN, PRI, SIP)
???? Experience supporting Contact Center solutions (Genesys PureCloud preferred)
???? Experience migrating PBX systems to cloud PBX (MS Teams or Skype for Business preferred)
???? Analyzing and reporting fixed-line bills and customer service records
???? Knowledge of Audiocodes SBA-SBC
???? Experience with Microsoft Teams Telephony (Direct Routing/Operator Connect)
???? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
