Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting operations for clients across various industries. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and prior experience in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including:
-
Accounts Payable & Receivable
-
General Ledger Maintenance
-
Payroll Processing
-
Bank Reconciliations
-
-
Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and records by collecting and organizing financial data.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all financial transactions in line with company policies and accounting standards.

Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities:
-
Posting journal entries
-
Reconciling accounts
-
-
Prepare MIS reports to analyze financial performance and trends.

Manage the books of accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Update senior accountants regularly on assigned tasks, including:

Timesheets
-
Billing
-
Collection activities
-
-
Participate in learning and adapting to new accounting software applications.
Requirements
Education:
-
ACCA Finalist / CA Inter or
-
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years in accounting or finance (Preferably in a consultancy background)
Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in accounting platforms such as:
-
Zoho
-
QuickBooks
-
Tally
-
Additional Information
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree

2+ years of accounting experience
Location Note:
While the company address is based at IIT Bombay Campus, Mumbai, this is a remote role available across India.
