About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in US tax compliance and SaaS performance analytics. This role will contribute to key financial processes and help drive operational efficiency in our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. US Tax Compliance:
-
Manage and file Form W9, Form 1099, and state sales tax filings.
-
Handle US payroll and unemployment tax filings.
-
Prepare documentation for corporate tax filings (Form 1120).
-
Stay current with US federal and state tax regulations.
2. SaaS KPI Analysis & Reporting:
-
Track and analyze metrics like MRR, ARR, CLTV, CAC, Churn Rate, etc.
-
Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports.
-
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align KPI drivers.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR):
-
Generate invoices and credit memos.
-
Monitor outstanding payments and lead collection efforts.
-
Reconcile AR and resolve discrepancies.
4. Accounts Payable (AP):
-
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
-
Maintain vendor relationships and resolve invoice queries.
5. MIS Reporting:
-
Create regular and ad-hoc Management Information System (MIS) reports.
-
Validate data from multiple sources and ensure reporting accuracy.
6. General Accounting Support:
-
Assist in month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
-
Support internal audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-
3–5 years’ experience in US accounting and tax compliance.
-
Knowledge of US GAAP, W9/1099, multi-state sales tax, and payroll tax.
-
Experience in SaaS metrics reporting is essential.
-
Proficient in Excel, accounting tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage), and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Preferred:
-
CPA or equivalent certification.
-
Experience with tools like Avalara, Trinet, ADP.

Familiarity with SaaS business models.
Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
