Emerson is looking for a Project Engineer to plan, organize, and coordinate contract completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and scope compliance. The role involves team coordination, progress tracking, risk mitigation, and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
✔ Review Purchase Orders (PO) and issue formal Order Acknowledgements (OA) to customers.
✔ Develop look-ahead schedules based on quoted and requested lead timelines.
✔ Communicate with customers to confirm deliveries as per OA.
✔ Provide weekly, biweekly, or monthly project updates to customers.
✔ Identify risks, opportunities, and potential issues, escalating when necessary.
✔ Coordinate and submit project documents (design and quality-related).
✔ Track and manage change requests from both customer and internal teams.
✔ Schedule customer calls to resolve technical or commercial queries.
✔ Push Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Planning teams for expedition requests.
✔ Liaise with the Engineering team for prioritization and updates on drawing submissions and Bill of Materials (BOM) release.
✔ Track weekly engineering status updates and develop look-ahead schedules for upcoming tasks.
✔ Plan dispatch processes, identify hurdles, and ensure smooth shipments.
✔ Follow up on overdue payments and push customers for clearance.
✔ Handle LC, Proforma, and Packing List preparation before shipment.
✔ Address warranty issues and goodwill requests within the system.
✔ Prepare and submit document dossiers post-project completion.
✔ Support in Inspection Reports (IR), Release Notes (RN), and Test Certificates (TCs) if required.
✔ Upload invoices on respective government subsidiary portals.
✔ Generate and maintain RDSL reports and dashboards to track order progress.
We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with strong communication and team collaboration skills.
✔ Strong written and verbal communication for seamless internal and external coordination.
✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
✔ Knowledge of project tracking, risk management, and performance monitoring.
✔ Experience in planning and executing projects in the Actuators, Valves, or Oil & Gas industries is a plus.
???? Education:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
✔ PMP certification (Preferred).
???? Experience:
✔ 1-2 years of experience in Project Management.
✔ Familiarity with Actuators, Valves, Oil & Gas, or similar industries.
???? Technical & Software Skills:
✔ Proficiency in MS Office, BI Tools, and ERP software (Oracle preferred).
✔ Strong planning and scheduling abilities.
✔ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
