About the Sales Function

Our Sales Team plays a vital role in our business – connecting with customers, building relationships, and expanding our market reach. Role Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth, executing trade initiatives, and strengthening retail relationships across your territory.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Sales Volume Achievement

    • Achieve brand-wise and segment-wise sales targets.

    • Create and implement monthly/quarterly volume objectives.

    • Manage and communicate volume schemes to retailers.

  2. Revenue Growth (NSR/GSV)

    • Drive Net Sales Revenue and Gross Sales Value through effective brand mix.

    • Focus on profitable sales across the territory.

  3. Distribution (WOD)

    • Ensure proper Width of Distribution.

    • Support new product launches in the market.

    • Maintain SKU and brand availability.

  4. Activations & Promotions

    • Execute merchandising and promotional programs.

    • Communicate and settle schemes efficiently.

    • Train and manage third-party promotional staff.

  5. Market Coverage & Reporting

    • Follow daily journey plans and outlet visit schedules.

    • Submit timely reports, including sales and competitor activity.

  6. RTC/QDVP Execution

    • Ensure retail standards are met across Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Promotion, Pricing, and Persuasion.

    • Implement marketing campaigns in alignment with state/regional teams.

  7. Collections & Relationship Management

    • Build strong relationships with retailers.

    • Monitor pricing, schemes, and outstanding payments as per policy.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: MBA in Sales & Marketing

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years in Alco-Bev Sales or

    • 5+ years in Consumer Sales (FMCG/Telecom)

  • Skills:

    • Sales Planning and Execution

    • Strong Client Relationship Management

    • Market Analysis and Networking

    • Field Sales Exposure (majority time spent in market)
