About the Role
We at Professional Tools are looking for a talented Engineer to join our Product Design team. This role involves working on both New Product Development (NPD) and Sustenance projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills with hands-on experience in CAD software (preferably Solid Edge).
Key Responsibilities
✔ Implement CAD/Drawing best practices in the design process.
✔ Convert 2D designs into 3D models using Team Center.
✔ Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notes (ECN).
✔ Support CAD activities for sustaining, NPD, cost-saving, or quality improvement projects.
✔ Develop functional designs with Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) considerations.
✔ Conduct GD&T/Stack-up Analysis.
✔ Effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
✔ Build & test functional prototypes and analyze test results.
✔ Prioritize tasks and execute them as per customer expectations.

Required Qualifications
✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
✔ Experience: 0 to 2 years.
✔ Technical Skills:

CAD software knowledge (Preferably Solid Works).

Understanding of Casting, Plastic, or Forging part design considerations.

Basic knowledge of GD&T/Stack-up Analysis.
✔ Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical ideas effectively.
✔ Soft Skills: Quick learner, problem solver, and team player.

✔ BE in Mechanical Engineering.
