Roles and Responsibilities
???? Hands-on experience in Auxiliary Systems for machinery and piping layouts in disciplines such as:
✔ Gas turbines
✔ Steam turbines
✔ Centrifugal compressors
✔ Reciprocating compressors
???? Mechanical Design & Packaging Responsibilities:
✔ Conceptual & detailed design for skid-mounted mechanical systems across multiple disciplines
✔ Plot plan development & general arrangements for major assemblies
✔ Equipment installation & mechanical interface design
✔ Interconnecting piping layouts, including:
- Air interconnecting piping
- Anti-icing & anti-surge air piping
- Miniskirt cross-piping and supports
- Line and cable tray layouts
???? Equipment & Skid Designs for Various Applications:
✔ Baseplate layouts & equipment piping
✔ Inlet plenum drain piping for gas turbines
✔ Complete piping supply for plant interconnections & supports
✔ General arrangements for auxiliary skids, including:
- Water injection skid
- Purge air skid
- Oil mist separation skid
- Hydraulic start skid
- Synthetic oil console
- Fuel gas treatment skid
- Oil purifier frame
- Cooling water skid
- Hydraulic start console
???? Engineering Calculations & Specifications:
✔ Thermal stress analysis for piping
✔ Baseplate calculation reports
✔ Machinery installation assessments
✔ Piping specifications & main skid weight estimation
✔ Fuel gas shut-off & vent valve skid specifications
✔ Plant manual valve layouts
???? Additional Responsibilities:
✔ Review general equipment arrangement & installation details
✔ Walkway designs for enclosures (internal & external)
✔ On-base enclosures and load equipment enclosures
✔ Package interface studies & miniskirt assembly drawings
✔ Technical reviews at various project stages (30%, 60%, 90%)
✔ Mentor & guide the engineering team to enhance technical expertise
✔ Drive knowledge management, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives
Required Experience & Skills
✔ 6 to 9 years of experience in designing gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, or reciprocating compressors
✔ Industry expertise in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors
✔ Ability to read & interpret P&IDs and client specifications
✔ Experience in preparing equipment specifications, datasheets & purchase documents
✔ Proficiency in design tools:
- Siemens NX10 or above
- AutoCAD
- Teamcenter
✔ Project planning, monitoring, and execution skills
✔ Commitment to on-time delivery (OTD) and quality assurance
