The Information Security department at Invesco is responsible for protecting information assets from internal and external threats. Our team ensures:

Your Role – Cloud Security Engineer
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and engineering cloud security solutions that align with Invesco’s global security strategy. Your focus will be on security implementation, compliance, and best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
???? Security Configuration & Implementation

Configure cloud & on-premises security technologies based on industry best practices.

Support cloud projects and tactical initiatives to enhance security.

Implement and enforce security standards & regulatory compliance measures.
???? Cloud Security Strategy & Design
-
Define technical security requirements for data protection, software integration, and network security.
-
Align cloud security solutions with NIST Framework & Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
-
Strategize and enhance compliance with security standards.
???? Security Monitoring & Risk Mitigation
-
Configure Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM) systems.
-
Implement cloud workload protection, Next-Gen security platforms, IAM, and Key Management Solutions.
-
Perform configuration scans and security assessments to ensure compliance.
???? Compliance & Governance
-
Ensure security compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, SOC1/2 regulations.
-
Maintain and upgrade security solutions, applying patches and improvements as needed.
???? Incident Response & Reporting
-
Monitor security threats and conduct investigations on security issues.
-
Provide metrics, reports, and periodic updates on security posture.
-
Research emerging security trends and recommend solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
✔ 4+ years of experience in IT security, focusing on cloud security and infrastructure security.
✔ Expertise in:

Threat Modeling & Cloud Data Protection
-
Security Information Event Monitoring (SIEM) – QRadar, Splunk
-
Cloud security solutions – AWS, Azure
-
IAM, Active Directory, ADFS, Key Management Solutions
✔ Hands-on experience in configuration scans & compliance checks.
✔ Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, JSON, application security.
✔ Experience with containers security, McAfee CASB, workload protection solutions.
✔ Knowledge of industry compliance standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, SOC1/2).
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
➕ Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
➕ Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
➕ Certified Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
➕ Vendor Certifications – AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
