Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will act as the ‘Cloud Ambassador’, assisting customers with AWS products and services, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless cloud adoption.
This role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse customer base, solve complex cloud-related problems, and develop expertise in cloud computing technologies.
???? Key Responsibilities
✔ Solve technical support cases via phone, email, and web/live chat.
✔ Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues.
✔ Identify product support inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
✔ Create knowledge base articles, tutorials, and technical documentation.
✔ Work on complex customer issues across multiple AWS services.
✔ Learn and develop expertise in emerging cloud technologies.
✔ Mentor new team members and participate in hiring processes.
???? Qualifications & Skills
✅ Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent technical experience (2+ years).
✅ Strong networking knowledge: DNS, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, TCP, UDP.
✅ Experience with web-based services and applications (Apache, Tomcat).
✅ Linux/Unix or Windows system administration skills.
✅ Knowledge of filesystem, block & object storage technologies.
✅ Experience with email services & SMTP troubleshooting.
✅ Understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
✅ Expertise with network troubleshooting tools (iperf, MTR, traceroute, dig).
✅ REST API knowledge and cloud security best practices.
✅ Familiarity with video streaming protocols (H264, MP4, WEBM, HLS, Smooth Streaming).
✅ Working knowledge of AWS services (CloudFront, SES, AWS Elemental Media Services).
✅ Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
