We are seeking an experienced content writer with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping content for the UK market. In this role, you will create and manage content marketing campaigns designed to drive leads and increase subscribers. You will use SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and generate organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Produce various types of content, including company newsletters, blog posts, website content, social media posts, and email communications.
- Develop content marketing campaigns to attract and engage the target audience.
- Write persuasive and informative articles tailored to the UK accounting and bookkeeping landscape.
- Content Management:
- Manage and promote our blog by regularly publishing and submitting articles to relevant third-party platforms.
- Edit and proofread content created by other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
- SEO & Digital Marketing:
- Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Analyze content marketing metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to brainstorm new ideas and ensure content aligns with overall business goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 to 7 years of experience in content writing, preferably focused on accounting/bookkeeping subjects for the UK.
- Solid understanding of accounting, taxation, and auditing concepts.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and digital marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
