Job Purpose
The Customer Service Associate will provide an enhanced level of customer service and operational support, handling shipment-specific and service-related issues to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Shipment Monitoring & Coordination
-
Track and monitor all shipments daily to ensure timely collection and delivery.
-
Work closely with both internal and external customers to develop strong working relationships.
-
Ensure patient shipment collection requirements are met while keeping them informed throughout the process.
✔ Booking & Documentation
-
Process booking requests and generate shipping documentation using Marken’s internal database.
-
Verify and distribute country-specific project documentation as required.
-
Maintain accurate records and archiving where necessary.
✔ Collaboration & Communication
-
Liaise with global and domestic teams to meet customer requirements efficiently.
-
Work with Local Service Providers to ensure smooth logistics transfers.
-
Enter clinical trial sites into Marken’s database where necessary.
-
Respond to general telephone and email inquiries from customers, offices, and agents.
-
Attend customer meetings and teleconferences when required.
Job Requirements

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
-
Strong computer skills for managing databases and shipment tracking.
-

Industry Knowledge:
-
Thorough understanding of Aviation and Airline networks.
-
Experience in logistics, shipment handling, or clinical trial supply chain is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to influence others and build strong client relationships.

Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
-
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends when required.
