Your Team Responsibilities
- We are building a modern Lakehouse with data engineering pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- The Lakehouse supports Marketing, Coverage, and Finance teams in generating insights and KPIs.
- We seek a Data Engineer to join our Marketing Data Engineering Development team in Pune/Mumbai.
- The role involves collaborating globally to build efficient, scalable pipelines from sources such as Google Analytics, Twitter, Highspot, Salesforce, and other social media platforms.
- The Data Engineering team supports data delivery for Power BI and other reports in the EDWH Lakehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & design new pipelines to support marketing data ingestion.
- Monitor & support load plans for various sources.
- Collaborate with the reporting team to design data models and reports.
- Adapt to new technologies and contribute to system improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in building data pipelines (Azure Data Factory & Databricks preferred).
- Experience in full-stack development of web services/applications, cloud, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Google or Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of Python scripting (advantageous).
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Expertise in batch/ETL/integration processes (preferably on Google/Azure cloud).
- Experience in developing & managing microservices on cloud platforms.
- DevOps knowledge and familiarity with security best practices.
- Exposure to open-source software and AI/LLM for business problem-solving.
- Experience in designing solutions using UML.
- Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server) or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git & source code control systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
