The Unified Communications Engineering organization at Comcast builds and operates voice and unified communication products for residential, commercial, and wholesale customers. The team embraces modern DevSecOps practices and values diversity, continuous learning, and customer-centric innovation.
We are seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our Device & Test Automation Platform team. You’ll help build and maintain secure, scalable, and robust systems while improving infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
Collaborate with developers to streamline the release process and enhance development workflows.
Implement monitoring and logging to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and scalability issues.
Drive alignment across cross-functional teams on DevOps best practices and standards.
Create and maintain documentation for DevOps tools and processes.
Stay up to date with DevOps, containerization, and cloud technologies.
2+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong experience with cloud platforms: OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or other configuration management tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Concourse, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages, especially Python.
Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools: Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Nagios, OP5.
Experience with OS administration: patching and upgrading Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu.
Working knowledge of OS commands and application debugging.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Comcast may also consider applicants with relevant experience and coursework in lieu of a formal degree.
2–5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
