???? What You Will Do:
As a Cybersecurity ELK Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain distributed ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stacks, playing a vital role in threat hunting, cyber analytics, and machine learning integration.
???? Key Responsibilities:

Act as the subject matter expert for ELK log ingestion and analysis.

Design and deploy ELK stacks using Infrastructure as Code principles.
-
Build and manage Logstash configurations, ingest pipelines, and parse various log types (e.g., Syslog).
-
Integrate ELK with third-party applications and manage multiple data sources.
-
Develop automation scripts for anomaly detection and visualize insights via Kibana.
-
Drive improvements in log ingestion and analysis through infrastructure re-design and process automation.
-
Configure and maintain Linux-based systems supporting ELK deployments.
-
Collaborate on network intrusion detection analytics with cybersecurity teams.
-
Document all configurations and deployments for production environments.
???? Qualifications:
✅ Required Certifications & Skills:
-
Elastic Certified Engineer
-
Proven experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Elastic Stack environments (on-premises & cloud-based)

Deep knowledge of:
-
Elasticsearch internals (indexing, search, data aggregation)
-
Elasticsearch Query DSL
-
Log parsing using GROK, DISSECT, and other ETL workflows
-

Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Ruby
-
Proficiency in scripting for automation
-
Experience developing Elasticsearch Watchers, custom alerts, and visualizations

Working knowledge of Elastic Security, including:

Detection rules
-
Machine Learning
-
AI Assistant
-

Expertise in implementing role-based access control, encryption, and index security
-
Experience in analyzing logs and events from diverse sources: firewalls, IDS/IPS, OS, and network devices
